I am greatly appreciated to the over 8,000 views we get everyday. I just want to take this time to let you know that if you love someone you should cherish them. I have a beautiful girlfriend and her name is Janelle. She is a phenomenal dancer. She has danced in many competitions and even on Broadway. I've never been more proud to call someone my girlfriend the way I do her. Shes cute, funny, smart and knows how to be her own person. When shes gone I miss her. When she sick i want to care for her. I hope one day she does see this and see my announcement to the world that I am in love with her. Raquel Castro (Actress and Singer) EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!

New hype is on the rise for actress/singer/dancer Raquel Castro over her new music video. Her music video has gained over 87,000 views. We all may remember Raquel from her younger days in 2004 when she starred along side Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez in her role in hit movie Jersey Girl. Since then she has been working on her first debut album. Here she is doing her own take on Nothin' On You by B.O.B.

Her amazing voice has sparked the attention of many. It is time for the Industry to have new, young talent. Can Raquel Castro bring back great music with her new album? I had the opportunity to interview Raquel about her upcoming music project, inspirations and future plans!

Interview:

1. How long have you been acting, singing, dancing etc. ?

Well I've been acting & singing since I was 4 years old and dancing since I was six. Performing has always been my dream so I'm really excited that I have this opportunity in life.

2. How do you prepare yourself for a new role or audition?

My mother is my acting coach so usually I would get the lines & have a couple of days to memorize them & get a feel for the character. Practice makes perfect! =D

3. What new projects can we expect from you in the upcoming years?

Well I'm taking a break from acting right now & I am focusing on my singing career. I've been in the studio working on my first album! I have a great team/family behind me so I hope we can all make something happen! I will hopefully be performing a lot over the summer!

4. If you could work with anyone from the music industry or movie industry who wold you most want to work with?

Beyonce is one of my biggest inspirations! It would be my DREAM to work with her! Also Celine Dion who sings one of my favorite songs, "My Heart Will Go On!" From the movie industry I really like Rachel McAdams & Adam Sandler!

5. What is your biggest accomplishment in your eyes?

I felt really blessed when I got to travel the world to do promotion for the movie "Jersey Girl" back in 04 & I hope to continue to accomplish more of my goals in the future!

6. Did you ever expect this video to be as successful as it has become with over 80,000 views?

Well this is the first video that I ever posted of myself singing! i did not expect to get all the wonderful comments & views that I got but I am super happy about it! My team and I are very excited and can't wait to start performing & finish my first album!

7. Who are your biggest inspirations musically?

Beyonce Knowles, Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera are my biggest inspirations =)

Chris Brown just released an album he should be concentrating on how to get his fan count back up since its gone down from the February 2009 incident with Rihanna. More publicity is needed for Chris Brown. Maybe thats why he's trying to release so many songs at once. Is it to try to get us to forget the fact that it happened?

Hurricane Season is a Go!

Back in June we exclusively reported that Hurricane Season, the basketball film starring Bow Wow, Forest Whitaker and Lil Wayne was being shelved by the Weinstein Company because the film studio could not afford to market and distribute it. At that time, The Weinstein’s were facing dire financial hardship and had invested a big part of their theatrical marketing spend in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Bastards. If Tarantino’s film failed, films like Hurricane Season would go from shelved to sold off in a matter of months….luckily for the studio, Inglorious Bastards will turn a profit as it already has grossed over $140 million world-wide and cost $70 million to make.

So what does this mean for Hurricane Season? It means The Weinsteins will have replenished funds to release and market a select few of their upcoming titles and we have the exclusive drop that Hurricane Season is one of them that will be resurrected. In other words you, yes you, will have the opportunity to watch Lil Wayne play a seventeen year old high school student who hates his school’s basketball team and you will get to see Bow Wow play a star player on the team.
